The Water Well Trust, a national nonprofit helping rural Americans get access to a clean, safe water supply, has received a $1.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Decentralized Water Systems (DWS) program for water well and wastewater projects to increase potable water system availability and access to wastewater systems to rural households throughout the U.S.

The Water Well Wish Grant program highlights a compassionate initiative by WaterWellWish.org. It offers financial aid to families lacking clean water through grants for water wells. Eligible recipients may receive up to $20,000 to repair, replace, or install a new water well. This benevolent program is exclusively managed by the Groundwater Foundation, demonstrating its commitment to ensuring access to safe drinking water.
